My Journey

I didn’t start coaching from the outside looking in.

I built this from inside the job.

There was a point where my body armour felt tighter than it should have.
Foot chases felt heavier than they used to.
I was turning up tired, carrying more weight than I was comfortable with — physically and mentally.

And if I’m honest, I knew I could do better.

Not because anyone told me to.
But because I didn’t feel like myself.

Shift work was relentless.
Scene guards.
Cancelled rest days.
Overtime.
Late finishes into early starts

The routine was chaos — and my fitness reflected it.

I wasn’t lazy. I wasn’t unmotivated.
I was disciplined in every other area of my life.

What I lacked was direction.

Once I finally applied structure properly, everything changed.

I went on to lose over 20kg while working full-time shifts.
Body armour fit properly again.
Foot chases felt sharper.
Energy improved.
And eventually — I got into photoshoot shape.

But the biggest shift wasn’t the physique.

It was how I felt.

Clearer.
Calmer.
More confident.
More in control.

What's My Why...

I joined the police in 2016 to help people when they needed it most (cliché right?)

Somewhere along the way, I realised a lot of the people who help everyone else… quietly stop helping themselves.

I’ve seen burnout.

I’ve lived it.

I’ve been short-fused when I couldn’t train.
Flat when routine collapsed.
Frustrated restarting again and again.

That’s why I coach now.

Because I don’t just care about weight loss.

I care about the officer who tells me:

“I feel like myself again.”

I care about the dad with more energy.
The partner who feels confident.
The sergeant who leads from the front physically and mentally.

Fat loss is the vehicle.

Self-respect is the outcome.

And if I can help emergency service professionals apply the right direction to their health…

Then I’m still doing exactly what I joined the job to do.

Helping people when they need it.

Just in a different way.

If you’ve read this far and thought, “That’s me.”

Then you already know it’s time to stop restarting.

I’m here to help you build it properly.
